PD Dr. Felix Roth

Felix Roth is the founder and owner of Dr. Roth - Scientific Expertise and a Privatdozent in the Department of Economics at the University of Hamburg. He habilitated in economics at the University of Hamburg and received his doctorate in economics from the University of Göttingen. As a scientist, he focuses on researching the relationship between intangible capital and labor productivity growth, as well as the economics of the European Economic and Monetary Union. He has almost 20 years of experience working as a researcher, expert, and economic policy advisor for the European Commission's Directorates-General for Research and Innovation, Economy and Finance, and the Joint Research Center.

Since January 1, 2026, the research allowance has become even more attractive thanks to the Immediate Investment Program. If you are a startup or an SME engaged in research and development (R&D), you are eligible for up to €4.2 million in funding per year.
